Albinism & I
This is an innovation between PE-Kenya and Boehringer Ingelheim a German pharmaceutical company.
The albinism and I Mobile site is a tool of knowledge whose purpose is to create awareness and disseminate relevant information on understanding albinism through literature, animation and podcasts.
The platform will have a linkage to social media API for story and experience sharing in a cohesive network of PWA, family and professionals. In addition, it will include a mentorship program/platform in which PWA can connect virtually or link up. P.E-Kenya deems education as the biggest driver of advocacy on issues that pertain to albinism and specifically availing the correct knowledge resources to the right audience.
The APP will go a long way in reaching out and bringing together a wider community to start with at a national level into a safe and free space where PWA can engage and find solutions on matters on health, education and social empowerment.
